ADVANTEC TABS 28`S. Stocked under our general health range at the pharmacy. ADVANTEC (Candesartan Cilexetil + Hydrochlorothiazide) combines a subtype angiotensin II receptor (type AT1) antagonist, candesartan and a diuretic,hydrochlorothiazide. Candesartan cilexetil is a prodrug hydrolyzed to candesartan during absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: ADVANTEC (Candesartan Cilexetil+Hydrochlorothiazide) is recommended for the treatment of hypertension. The fixed dose combination is not recommended for initial therapy.
