Cadronate is classified under a group of medicines called bisphosphonates. Therapeutic indications: Treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at increased risk of fracture. A reduction in the risk of vertebral fractures has been demonstrated, efficacy on femoral neck fractures has not been established.
