Lipitas 20 mg tablets contain atorvastatin which helps in the management of high cholesterol and high triglycerides. Lipitas 20 mg Tablet is a lipid lowering medicine (statin). Its effect comes from blocking an enzyme (HMG CoA reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers 'bad' cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises 'good' cholesterol (HDL). It helps prevent heart attack and stroke.
