Trimex Expectorant Diabetic is indicated for dry irritating coughs in diabetic patients. Preparations containing narcotic should be used for short term if possible as addiction and dependency may occur. Pholcodeine is less addictive, causes less drowsiness and dependency as compared to codeine and dextromethorphan. Class: Mucolytics/expectorants (Respiratory system drugs).
